Las Guardias
Riobamba Assembly Hall
Our friend Sebastianvolunteers at the Riobamba Assembly hall every week...thanks to him we got invited to volunteer the day after our assembly...there were only about 12 of us as volunteers that day...
I got to go on the roof and help patching up things ...
Our volunteering group for the day ...break time
Assembly
Sorry sometimes the updates are days or a week old....we don't have internet at home so sometimes it gets difficult.....we had our assembly the second week in October...
Pioneer meeting
After pioneer meeting with Omar's parents on the left and far right the Co and his wife...they are from Puerto Rico
After the meeting the boys took us to eat something traditional from Ambato called Yapingachos ...they were delicious!
Later some friends had us over for a mini dance party
After the train our friend Sebastian, who volunteers at the Riobamaba Assembly Hall, gave us a tour
We also got to go to their meeting in Cunchibamaba ...a group that was formed over a month ago...
Only four from the group live in Cunchibamba...a special pioneer couple and our friends Omar and Sebastian...th others come from different congregations to support the group ...there is indeed a lot off need here in Ecuador
Cunchibamba
We had the privilege of helping out the Cunchibamba spanish groupmwith some construcción And cleaning up in the house that they use as the kingdom all....sometimes we take for granted that we have Kingdom Halls ..even if they are small...but some brothers in other parts of the world have to use other places like houses or small rooms to use as a place of worship...yet they try to make it presentable for Jehovah....we had a blast helping out brothers and sister with their "minga" or cleaning up day...the group here has only been up and running for a month! :)
