Chillanes

So about two weeks ago we got invited to go help with a construction project in the town of Chillanes...the congregation there was no longer able to rent the house they used as their Kingdom Hall so one of the families that lives there offered for the brothers to make a room in the upstairs of her house to use as a Kingdom Hall.....we enjoyed it so much! ,..the first day there were volunteers from our congregation and from congregations in the city of Bucay (don't know if that's how it's spelt) ...in total we had about 34 volunteers...the next dat we had only about 13.... But all those who volunteered truly put forth the effort to get things done....our job the first day was sifting sand ...they use the sand to mix with the concrete .... Needles to say that sifting is no easy task ...we were definately sore the next day....all in all we loved being able to help and get to know the friends ...

My sifting buddy ...

The upstairs is what is under construction
